as i approach my fourth and final year of studying art at the college level i am realizing  how much i don't think about art the way that all my teachers and most of my pears seem to. i draw and create in order to achieve something i find visually pleasing. that is simply hoe i interact with art. but that doesn't seem to be enough for the rest of them. to them, art must mean something. a rose can never be just a rose. I brought a section from a reading in art history class in which an artist states that once the art is out of his hands, he has no control over what the viewer thinks about art, or what meaning the viewer takes away. i was taken

Soooo, i may not like my current job with vector/cutco, but is has inspired me to get my act together and start selling my various forms of art. which reminds me i need to post some pics of the new leather masks i started making. But thats a bit off topic. i am in the process of creating my on website on which i can begin to sell my own work. And pay pal is finally working for me so i am much closer to that goal than i was just days ago! Im probably also going to start selling on etsy, and i may get a fiver account as well just to get my work out there. im excited!!!! :D

wow, how much must a job suck for me to hate it after the first weekend... oh well. for those of you who actually read this, i finally found a summer job. turns out its really hard to find work when your a young adult with no experience and only a couple months of free time before you go back to school in a different state. who would have thunk it? haha.
